Needs assessment, broadly defined, is a systematic process for establishing priorities, and making decisions regarding planning, development, and operations. During this process, our needs assessment is refined as we determine if discrepancies (gaps) exist between "what is" and "what should be", then we prioritize these needs.
Emphasis will be placed on making decisions and setting priorities based on information gathered.
Data collection is essential to the process. It allows us to characterize the weaknesses and strengths of the environments and processes. This helps identify what problems have to be addressed and what types of breakdowns are commonplace. This data acquisition is the foundation that will support our findings and recommendations.
Identify Gaps:
Gap analysis is the process through which information is gathered to identify the gaps that exists between the current services and the organization's actual needs.
NexGen Management evaluates the existing business processes as compared to your business needs and identifies any discrepancies. (NOTE: this could include growth or reduction of the people/process and services as well as no-change to the environment)
Recommendations:
After NexGen Management has completed the analysis, a detailed findings report inclusive of our recommendations will be delivered. The report will supply all data and conclusions of the business analysis and will be used during the development of a service improvement plan and/or program. A key difference in having NexGen as your partner is that we give you the option of implementing the recommendation or having us manage it for you. You "make the call" that supports your goals!
